Frederick Community College will hold its Fall Transfer Fair on Thursday, October 3, 2019, for students who plan to transfer to another college or university after their time at FCC. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Athletics Center. 
 
“It is important that students who plan to continue their education beyond FCC begin their search and information gathering as early as possible,” said Marsha Mason-Sowell, Transfer Services Counselor. “Deciding where to transfer will allow students to make better choices about FCC course selection and other timely decisions so that the transfer process is as smooth as possible.”
 
During the fair, FCC students will have the opportunity to meet transfer admissions representatives from over 30 schools including Capitol Tech University, Coppin State University, Frostburg State University, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Hood College, Loyola University, McDaniel College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Penn State Harrisburg, Salisbury University, Shepherd University, Shenandoah University, Shippensburg University, Towson University, University of Baltimore, University of Maryland, UMBC, West Virginia University, and York College.
 
Students can discover which schools offer their desired major and learn about the admission process, application deadlines, major requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
