New and Updated Business Certificate Programs Being Offered at FCC
07/15/2015
Frederick Community College has added and updated numerous business programs to better meet the needs of the community.

Starting this fall, FCC will offer new or revised business certificate programs in Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Start-Up, Healthcare Practice Management, Hospitality Management, and Project Management.

These programs can be completed in as little as a year with full-time study. Many classes are available in accelerated or online options.

“In the competitive world of business, it’s imperative that employees make sure they are equipped with the most up to date training and certificates, and our business program is always striving to offer that,” said Marty Crabbs, Business Program Manager. “These recent changes make our certificates more relevant, integrate them with our business degree programs, and enable students to complete them in a reasonable amount of time.”

The new and revised programs help individuals strengthen their professional credentials and advance their business careers. Credits earned in certificate programs can also be used toward completion of an associate degree in business.

More information about each certificate program is listed below.

Business Management (24 credits) – Prepares students for entry level employment in careers requiring basic business and management skills.

Entrepreneurship and Small Business Start-Up (24 credits) – Prepares students who are interested in starting a small business or engaging in other entrepreneurial activities.
