Registration Open for Summer Programs at FCC for Kids and Teens
03/19/2019
Registration is now open for interactive summer programs for kids and teenagers aged six to 16 years old at Frederick Community College.

The FCC Kids on Campus and Teens on Campus programs offer hands-on educational classes designed to keep kids and teens academically engaged during the summer months, while also having fun.

“Summer is about having fun, and at FCC, it’s a time for kids and teens to bring their energy and creativity to our classrooms and learn through discovery and exploration,” Karen Freeman, FCC Youth Programs Manager, said. “Each year, we add new, unique classes based on what we know youth are interested in. It’s a way to keep kids’ brains active all summer while making great memories, too.”

There are 200 classes to choose from this year, including:

Video Game Design
Kids Take Over the Kitchen
Polymer Science (aka Slime!)
The Butler Did It? Science of Crime Solving
Entrepreneurship for Teens and Tweens
Digital Photography for Kids
Easels on Campus
How to Build a PC
May the Force Be with You: LEGO® Star Wars
Junior Scientists – Wild and Wacky Experiments

Classes run weekly from June 24, 2019 to August 16, 2019. There are morning and afternoon sessions, as well as a lunch option so parents can register for full days.
