Welcome to Frederick Community College!

 

Frederick Community College (FCC) is located in Frederick, Maryland and consists of the main campus and the Monroe Center. The main campus includes admissions and student services offices, the Athletics Center, Student Center, Conference Center, Visual & Performing Arts Center, the Learning Commons, classrooms, and more. The Monroe Center is home to our workforce training programs, including Business, Career & Technical Training, Construction & Applied Technologies Institute (CATI), Healthcare Careers, and Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism Institute (HCTI).

Frederick Community College (FCC) is located in Frederick, MD, about an hour outside of Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C.
 
Directions to Main Campus
 
From the east (Baltimore): Follow I-70 from Baltimore to Frederick. Exit onto Route 15 north. Follow 15 north to Motter Avenue exit. Turn right onto Motter/Opossumtown Pike. Travel one mile and turn left at entrance to FCC.
 
From south (Washington, D.C.): Follow I-270 northwest from Washington to the junction with I-70 and Route 15. Follow Route 15 north to the Motter Avenue exit. Turn right onto Motter/Opossumtown Pike. Travel one mile and turn left at the entrance to FCC.
 
From the west (Hagerstown): Follow I-70 east from Hagerstown. Take the first Frederick exit to Route 40. Follow Route 40 east to Route 15 junction. Follow Route 15 north to Motter Avenue. Turn right onto Motter/Opossumtown Pike. Travel one mile and turn left at entrance to FCC.
 
*NOTE: GPS directions are not always accurate. Students traveling to FCC via route 15 should take the Motter Avenue exit.

The FCC Monroe Center is located just 3.5 miles from our main campus and is home to our workforce training programs, including Business, Career & Technical Training, Construction & Applied Technologies Institute (CATI), Healthcare Careers, and Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism Institute (HCTI). The Monroe Center is the largest college construction training facility in Maryland.
 
Directions to the Monroe Center
 
From FCC Main Campus: Follow Opossumtown Pike south and stay straight to go onto Motter Ave. Turn left onto W 7th Street. Turn right onto N East St. Turn left onto E 3rd St. Turn left onto E Church St. Turn right onto Highland St. Turn left onto Monroe Ave. The Monroe Center will be on your right.
 
From the east: Follow I-70 W to Frederick and take exit 55 toward South St. Turn right onto Monocacy Blvd. Turn left onto E Patrick St. Turn right onto Monroe Ave. The Monroe Center will be on your right.
 
From the west: Follow I-70 E to Frederick and take exit 55 towards Fairgrounds, Turn right on E South St. and make a right onto Monocacy Blvd. Turn left onto E Patrick St. Turn right onto Monroe Ave. The Monroe Center will be on your right.

Parking & Transportation


Parking

All enrolled students may get a parking sticker, at no cost, from Registration & Records, located in Jefferson Hall, J-101.
 
Students may park in any space not designated as staff parking or other unauthorized spaces such as handicapped or reserved spaces. Students parking in unauthorized spaces will be issued citations and vehicles parked illegally, disrupting traffic flow, or creating a safety hazard will be towed at the owner’s expense.

In addition to our many parking lots, FCC has a three-story, 350-space parking deck for students adjacent to the Conference Center.
 

Public Transit

In many cases, bus service is available to and from the College. Pick up a schedule from the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement, located in the Student Center, H-101, or the College Information Center, located in Jefferson Hall, J-101.
 
Frederick transit buses stop at the College from 6:40 a.m. – 9:40 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Buses #60, #61 and #80 stop at FCC and drop off in front of Linganore Hall. 
 
Discounted tickets can be purchased at the FCC Bookstore.
