Fourteen FCC student athletes have been named to the 2015-2015 All-Academic Team by the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO).
MD JUCO annually recognizes success in the classroom from student athletes across the 16 member institutions. A total of 101 student athletes were recognized this year.
“I am extremely proud of our student athletes as they continue to go above and beyond,” said FCC Director of Athletics Rodney Bennett. “This past year was a record-setting year academically and athletically. We are ecstatic about the future of FCC and the Athletic Department.”
The MD JUCO All-Academic Team is awarded to student-athletes who have participated in at least one sport for one season while achieving an overall grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. First-year students must have earned at least 18 credits, while second-year students must have earned at least 42 credits to be eligible for the award.
