Music Lessons
The FCC music program is led by expert musicians with lessons and ensembles open to students of all ages and all levels, from beginner to advanced, in a variety of formats. Annual Shields Music Scholarships are provided by the George L. Shields Scholarship Fund and the FCC Foundation.

From whiskey tastings to watercolor, Lifelong Learning courses offer an opportunity to discover something new, revisit a favorite hobby, or share a memorable experience with friends and family. All courses are delivered by expert instructors for participants ages 16+.

Designed for adults with intellectual disabilities to promote social, physical, and emotional well-being while helping participants function more independently at home, at work, and in the community.

Youth Programs
Introducing students to the higher education community and allowing students younger than 16 the opportunity to discover, explore, and learn more about their interests. This includes the Kids on Campus summer program as well as offerings throughout the year in science, technology, creative and performance arts, cooking, Safe Sitter, and much more.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
The evaluation of college-level or experience-based learning that an individual has achieved outside of traditional classroom environment that can be used to demonstrate college-level learning for academic credit awards.
