The Pre-Health Professions AS Degree prepares students to:
- Apply to FCC's selective admissions program, including:
- Apply directly to a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, or for FCC Associate Degree in Nursing Program students, one of FCC's dual-admission RN-to-BSN partnerships.
- Transfer to articulated programs, including:
- University of Baltimore's Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management
- Salisbury University's Bachelor of Science in Community Health
Health and Exercise Sciences
The Health and Exercise Sciences Area of Concentration provides students with the first two years of course requirements leading to a Bachelor Degree in physical education.
FCC’s Fitness/Personal Trainer Certificate program prepares students for a career in personal training and allows students to enter the workforce directly after earning the certificate. Certification is through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). The Fitness/Personal Trainer Certificate can be earned alone or as part of the Health and Exercise Sciences Associate Degree.
Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant AAS and Medical Assistant Certificate are non-selective admission programs that prepare graduates to service as entry-level assistants who perform administrative and clinical procedures in doctors' offices, insurance offices, hospitals, clinics, and government agencies.
