The campus will remain open during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with very limited services available for general questions.

Welcome and Information Team
The Student Center Welcome & Information Desk (Student Center - H Building) will be staffed during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., to assist College and community members with general questions. The Welcome and Information Team can also be contacted at

[email protected]. Please note that the Jefferson Hall (J Building) and Monroe Center Welcome and Information desk will be closed.
Classes and Classrooms
In-person and virtual classes scheduled on Fridays will remain in session. Students will still have access to classrooms, laboratories, and study areas.
Online Resources
Online resources will remain accessible for your convenience, including the College website, Blackboard, and library databases.
Emergency Services / Public Safety
Emergency services will remain available. In case of an emergency, contact the College’s Public Safety staff at
301.846.2453 or dial x2453 using any College phone. The Public Safety office is located in the Student Center, H-116, behind the Information Desk.
College Summer Holidays
The College is closed on the following holidays:
- Juneteenth on Friday, June 19
- Independence Day on Friday, July 3 (Observed)
- Independence Day on Saturday, July 4
On these dates, the college is closed and there are no classes, office hours, or campus services available. Online resources remain active.
